As a Student Training Program, it is His Ministries’ goal to combat substance abuse in our area by creating within our youth a sense of ownership and commitment to their community through effective activities that are planned, organized and implemented by their peers. In January of 2011, His Ministries was able to start its Student Training Program with a grant provided by Occupational Enterprises, Inc. The Edge Student Training program will enable us to hire and train students interested in working in an entertainment career or small business. Students in our program learn the aspects of live sound, photography and video, event booking and promotion, sales and marketing through the operation of The Edge Music Venue. Students stay in the program for one year with the goal of advancing their future careers and encouraging them to become community involved.
