Surrounded by trees and the sound it makes in the wind brings a feeling of calm and surrender.
I don’t know about you, but I need it today. Feeling all the feels. Keeping up with my kids, playing referee, housemaid, cook, teacher, business owner, and nurse. I imagine there are many out there who feel the same.

There are so many good things going on right now. I thought to share one. Please share your good thing with us!
✨Our household feels grateful for David at Sparkle Stories.✨
“As I do before I start every story, I will open my heart.” -David
People offering their talents to help move through this time with ease.
Every night my kids snuggle into bed and we watch David from Sparkle Stories tell a story. It is definitely a highlight of our day.
I thought to share in case you are interested. It has been running live this week (will be recorded tonight and maybe one on Sunday) with hope he will pick it back up live during the weekday. Can be found on their page. We watch the recorded version bc of time difference.

Dear Friends, Inspiring Supporters, and Family,
I haven’t shared why I created and I thought this is a good time.
It’s easy to be grateful when on vacation or enjoying the best in life. However, the true test is to search for and really embrace the gratitude when things feel hard. To search for the silver lining because there always is one. Always. This is the raw grit purpose behind my passion project for the children.
Practice gratitude = positive mindset
With all my heart (and science backs me up) I believe that a practice of gratitude brings forth a positive mindset. So why not introduce this to our children who are learning sponges at Mach speed. By the time they are teens they won’t even realize there is a choice. Gratitude and a positive mindset with be their default, second nature. They will only realize their difference when they are among people who carry the opposite energy. This is what happened for me.
And you might ask, “Why the personalization and art?” I remember when I was given a stack of store bought cards as a child to write my “thank you notes”. Blah. Boring. Not truly from ME! In order to make it fun and engaging gratitude needs to come from their own personal expression whether it’s a drawing or a photo of something that is important to them. They need to really own their true brilliance, their personal light that shines within and to realize that it’s important to share. This realization adds to their self esteem.
Practice gratitude = positive mindset

Hi All!
I know I need to work on the appearance of my posts 🤨 but for now I’m busy putting together a basket with another mom for our schools dinner auction.

Show up for people who need a helping hand.
Grateful Kids Print and the Halasz Family will be supporting Sayler and her family this Sunday.
Grateful Kids donated an “Art from Me!” Gratitude box as well as a collection of the celebrating kindness packets to the auction.
My daughter made soap to auction and my son is donating his time to read to a child.
I heard there will be lots of auction items all to help this family.
This is heartbreaking but that doesn’t mean we turn away...we HELP, we show up, we show our kids that this is what we do when people need help. We are brave for them, have compassion and embrace morsels of gratitude for what is good today.
A wee bit of your time will make a world of difference to this local Point Loma family.

It’s easy to be grateful when surrounded by beauty and on vacation but Grateful Kids is here to help kids find that gratitude when life doesn’t feel so easy. Practicing gratitude often builds a positive mindset, so they look for the rainbow while in the storm.
