Big tree work calls for big equipment—and a crew that knows how to keep everything moving. 🌳

For this Westford project, Martel Crane Service & Tree Removal brought in the 110-ton crane to handle the heavy lifting while the ground crew kept the removal process moving below.

Large sections were carefully lifted away and brought into an open processing area, where the grapple and chipper could quickly take over. Sometimes one crane just isn’t enough. 🏗️🌳

This Chelmsford project called for two cranes working on the same property, giving the crew the reach and positioning needed to tackle large trees in different areas around the home.

Martel Crane Service & Tree Removal carefully positioned the equipment to work around the house, driveway, landscaping and surrounding trees. Sometimes getting the crane into position is a job in itself.
For this Burlington tree removal, Martel Crane Service & Tree Removal brought in the 110-ton crane, but there wasn’t much room to spare. The crane had to be carefully positioned alongside the house with trees, landscaping and limited yard space all around it.
Heavy mats and cribbing helped protect the property and provided a solid setup for the outriggers. Once everything was safely positioned and leveled, the crew could get to work on the tree removal.

Jobs like this show why the setup matters just as much as the lift—big equipment, tight spaces and careful planning from start to finish.

A late-summer tree removal with cleanup just as important as the removal itself.
For this Burlington project, Martel Crane Service & Tree Removal had the crew and equipment working together to efficiently process everything coming down.
With the chipper, grapple equipment and mini skid steer on site, branches and debris could be moved out quickly while the crew worked through the property. Once the major tree work was complete, attention turned to the details—clearing branches, wood chips and debris and leaving the property neat and ready for the homeowner to enjoy.

For us, the job isn’t finished when the tree comes down. Meticulous cleanup is part of the service.

Beautiful day. Beautiful property. A setup that called for extra care. 🌳☀️

For this Chelmsford tree removal project, Martel Crane Service & Tree Removal brought in the 110-ton crane to handle the heavy lifting while protecting the surrounding property.

With the crane carefully positioned near the backyard gazebo and the chipper and equipment staged nearby, the crew had to make the most of the available space. Ground protection mats were also used to help protect the lawn while moving equipment across the property.

Once everything was in position, the crew could safely dismantle and remove the trees piece by piece, process the debris, and keep the job moving efficiently.

Big equipment, careful planning, and respect for a beautiful property from start to finish.

Sometimes tree removal is about more than taking down a few trees — it’s about transforming how a property can be used.

For this Chelmsford project, the goal was to open up the yard and create significantly more usable outdoor space. Martel Crane Service & Tree Removal removed multiple large trees, using the crane to safely handle the heavy sections while the crew processed the debris with the chipper and other equipment.

Sometimes getting the crane into position is a project all by itself!

For this Burlington tree removal, the Martel Crane Service & Tree Removal crew needed to set up on uneven ground with limited room to work. The crane had to be carefully leveled and stabilized, with substantial cribbing beneath the outriggers to create a secure working platform.

Once everything was properly positioned, the crane provided the reach and lifting power needed to safely tackle the trees surrounding the property.

It’s a great look at the planning that happens before the first tree ever comes down. When the terrain and access are challenging, the right setup makes all the difference.
