Nahrmann Bass Shop Nahrmann Bass Shop houses the largest selection of new and restored double basses in New England. We are located just 30 minutes from downtown Boston.

Our 3000 square foot facility has a showroom with up to 100 basses and a large restoration workshop.

After a week in Europe we are back on the Prescott. Goal #1 put some structure back in. At this point all cracks in the top are fixed and cleated. The lower ribs needed to be shortened by about 1/4 inch each due to the shrunk back. Most cracks in the ribs are now closed and cleated as well. Center and lower braces are back in.
