Basically… I came in to thrift and accidentally built an entire fall personality.
Let’s talk about the Pfaltzgraff mug first. 🍒
She is giving slow mornings, oversized sweater, coffee before anyone else is awake. Immediate yes.
And this little vintage dish with the coziest illustration?? The kind of tiny treasure you absolutely do not need but will think about for the next three business days if you leave without it. It’s coming home and we’re dreaming of hanging a plate wall.
The rusty orange floor cushion / throw pillow is basically fall in object form. Put her by the fireplace, in a reading nook, on the floor with a stack of books… you get it. 🍁
Then we have the floral watercolor pitcher that is begging for a handful of grocery store flowers. Or branches from the backyard. Or literally whatever is still growing outside. Fresh stems + vintage pitcher = always.
A sewing machine because tell me why fall immediately makes me want to become someone who has a cozy indoor hobby?? Suddenly I’m making things. I don’t know what things, but I’m making them.
Muck boots because we’re entering the season of muddy walks, chilly mornings, pumpkin patches, and pretending we’re about to spend the entire day outside.
And THIS patchwork-print apron?? I am obsessed. Especially if you’re a sourdough person. Tell me you wouldn’t put this on, make a loaf from scratch, and immediately feel like you have your entire life together.
The sleek, modern mirror is proof that the thrift store really does have something for every aesthetic. Put her in the bathroom for a little upgrade or in the entryway for the “wait, where did you get that?” moment.
The pumpkin candy/cookie jar is a classic. No explanation necessary. It has earned her place on the counter every fall from now until the end of time.
And the amber mug set?? HELLO. These are practically already filled with an at-home PSL. Add a little whipped cream and cinnamon and suddenly your kitchen is your favorite coffee shop.
Obviously we need a cozy fall candle in the mix. Light it when the sun starts going down at 6 p.m. and pretend you’re not completely obsessed with this time of year.
