Blind Cat Chocolate

Final day for us in Seattle. I always learn something from the amazing Sarah Bharath. Today it was about what lies beneath and soil health. We tasted the difference in roasting profiles on cacao and Grace was learning all about cacao genetics and the origins of cacao.

🐾 Meet the Reason Behind the Mission: Penelope 💕

She's one of our own personal rescues at home — not a shop cat, but part of the family that reminds us every single day why we do this. Blind Cat Chocolate was born from our soul kitty Xel's story, and cats like Penelope are the whole reason "Eat Chocolate. Save Cats." isn't just a slogan — it's personal.

Every bar you buy helps fund rescue work for cats just like her, still waiting for their people.

Check back next Monday to meet the next member of the crew! 🐈🍫

🎉🍫 THREE YEARS OF BLIND CAT CHOCOLATE! 🍫🎉

Three years ago, this business started as a 14ft concession trailer in our driveway. We passed our food safety inspection, got licensed, and started selling — one small batch at a time.

Since then, we've grown into a real storefront at 733 Lake Elmo Dr, built out wholesale accounts, and kept making chocolate the slow, small-batch way — because that's the whole point.

None of it would matter without the mission behind it: every bar you buy helps give rescue cats a new beginning. Thank you for three years of showing up, buying bars, and believing in why we started this in the first place. 🐾

Here's to many more years of chocolate (and cats). 💜

This will be our first out of state event! We are super excited to be participating in the 2027 Red Rock Region Chocolate and Fine Foods Festival

Many of your favorite vendors from our inaugural festival are coming back for Year Two, and we're also excited to welcome a whole lineup of new vendors. We're working hard to make this year's festival even more delicious, memorable, and fun.
