This House of Books This House of Books is an independent community-owned full-service bookstore and tea room in downtown Billings, Montana.

We are an independent, co-op bookstore in the heart of downtown Billings, and the only thing we love more than reading is connecting OTHER readers with great books and their fantastic authors. Using the cooperative model means that we give book lovers a chance to own a piece of the store and participate in its success. Our book selection is broad, with a focus on regional titles, but our bookselle

rs love everything from graphic novels to children's books! With over 100 published authors as member-owners, we have an excellent cross-section of books by local authors. The store also features toys, games, journals, and art!

Join us at Art House Billings Monday (8/10) to support su***de prevention with a special showing of Men in Black! Door opens at 6pm, film starts at 6:30pm. This event is FREE, but we recommend reserving seats ahead of time. We will have a donation basket set up, and all proceeds will benefit the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention.

If you missed chatting with our Artwalk artist, she has a book, and you can peruse it when you stop in during Farmers Market to say hi to author Gwen Gunn as she signs books. Or come by later in the day to check out the Art swap at 2pm...or check in before the Poetry Jam gets going next door at Frae Collective at 7pm. If Saturday sounds too hectic, though, you should definitely come chill with the Yellowstone Repertory Theatre folks at 2pm on Sunday (8/9) for a reading of Clarkston.
