Started out snapper season right with ole Thomas who has been with me since the first year I started! He is one of those clients that always seems to slam the fish. Even if we get thrown crazy weather conditions he somehow makes it happen. Unfortunately this trip his wife Donna was not able to join us. We have a lot of funny stories over the years but my favorite is when I set up Donna to outfish Thomas š. We were on a hot trout bite and her setup was just a tad different. After she landed quite a few Thomas quickly caught on to what was going on. It was all in good fun. They are both very competitive, but I enjoyed the trash talking she gave him during that trip. I look forward to seeing them every year. As always Thomas did his thing this year. We had to hide out from a storm but he slammed some good snapper and a tom of really nice trout.
