This is the time of year where we get calls to "fix" a swimming pool. The winter and time wear down a pool until there is no chance of fixing it. Time for a new one, sad to say. Rust through the walls, skimmer and returns, crushed walls, bent metal you will not make that pool rigid again. Again, im sorry to say there is no saving it. Even if you try to add a metal piece and rivet it to the pool to reinforce it. That is a temporary fix before the pool can eventually blow out. Once the pool wall and rigidness are compromised. There is no way to save it. You can try to buy a wall to replace it but that begs the question. What happens when you add new parts to an old pool? What about the old parts? When will they fail? Best thing would be to replace it. A second word of advice, do not backfill up the wall for any above ground not designed to be in the ground. More on that soon. Stay tuned! Thank you
