(Kim's personal experience with the Danner's- During this deer season, Bryan about walked my behind off walking up a "straight up hill and around the side of the hill on a deer drive". The Vibram soles/bottom of the Danner boots were awesome. I walked up that steep hill and around the steep side of the hill with no slips and no twisting of my ankles. My feet were warm.)
