One thing I love as a vintage fanatic is the fact that there is a wide variety of different styles of vintage. With that said, we bring you one of our close friends the sweet family from for today’s vendor feature.

Elam Estate Antiques was started by Sarah and Nick Elam in 2020. After being stuck at home during the pandemic, they were ready for a new adventure! Sarah is the curator, and Nick is the photographer. Together, they make a great team! The collection has vintage valuables and unique antiques. Sarah’s style consists of chinoiserie, brass, and bedroom china just to name a few things! Their Christmas collection will be on display at the market as well as their classic items. 💗

Happy Thursday party people! Can you believe that our market is only 10 days away?!? We have so many great vendors lined up for this event and I wanted to take the time to introduce some of them each day leading up to the event. Since I haven’t done a full introduction of myself yet, I’ll go first.

My name is Amanda and I’m the owner of . I’m a mama, wife, business owner and lover of alllllll things vintage. I’m a New Orleans transplant trying to live my best life in Tuscaloosa. My style is pretty eclectic and colorful. You can usually find me surrounded by plants, wicker and sleek midcentury modern furniture. I love a good crewel, especially planty related crewels. Finding treasures for you all has to be one of my favorite past times. It’s a great feeling helping my customers find something that brings that nostalgic feeling and gives those things a new life.

I started this market because after living all over the east coast I was accustom to bigger outdoor vintage markets in places like Virginia Beach, Jacksonville, Boston, NY and Charleston. I wanted to bring that to the Birmingham area and bring the thriving online vintage community together in person. In case you weren’t aware there are some fantastic vintage sellers here and if you aren’t following some of our featured resellers you’re truly missing out. This is our biggest market yet, and I’m wicked excited to see you all. So come out on December 12th to and buy something for your mama and them.

Well, friends, we have an announcement. We have waited until the very last minute to make this decision, but it can’t wait any longer due to the current dire situation Alabama is in. At this time we are making the decision to postpone our Vintage Market that was scheduled for August 21st at .

Sometimes we have plans and then a worldwide pandemic steamrolls over them like the Kool aid man breaking through a concrete wall. This doesn’t mean the market is gone forever. Trust me, it will happen. As soon as we can get a new date and time we will keep everyone in the loop.

Fun Facts About Me:
🐐 I am a full time RN in the Neonatal ICU.
🐐 I got married to my love, Marcus, in June - We eloped in St. Lucia!
🐐 We bought our first home last May and we’ve loved (& hated at times) being homeowners.
🐐 We also got our first puppy together last May. Her name is Essie Charles (labradoodle) and she often likes to help me by sitting directly in front of the camera.
🐐 I’m obsessed with Rose Medallion, bar cart essentials, and oriental/ Asian inspired pieces.

The Vintage G.O.A.T. was established this past December and I’ve loved every minute of it! I grew up (Atlanta & Ocala, FL) going to antique stores with my parents, what felt like, every weekend! To be honest, the candied pecans is what I looked forward to most. Our family home was decorated with some of the most beautiful antiques. It wasn’t until I got older that I started to appreciate such timeless pieces! I have enjoyed transforming my own home into a vintage showcase of some of my favorite things. I am beyond thankful that I am able to help each of you transform your homes as well! Thank you for all your support!

Inspired by little pops of “bleu,” you are guaranteed to find beautiful, timeless items that deserve second stories and brand new beginnings. Millie Bleu strives to provide its customers with high-quality interiors at affordable prices.

Millie Bleu is named after one of my first loves, Millie—our family’s first Golden Retriever. Although you’d never know it, Millie was born with congenital kidney disease and was not expected to live more than a few years. Millie lived six years. She went to spring training, law school, and a lot of states in-between. Millie was a light of sunshine to everyone she met. She loved good food and the ocean just as much as I do. Now she is our family’s guardian angel.

By day, I am a lawyer. I maintain a varied practice at a defense firm that includes work on trial and appellate matters involving product liability and class action litigation. I love what I do, but it doesn't always fill me up creatively. I have always loved shopping and collecting. During the pandemic, I decided to start Millie Bleu to fill my creative cup and share my finds. Stylistically, I am inspired by traditional home interiors with modern elements and pops of color—especially “bleu.” I love mixing the old with the new.

If you attended our last two markets you know that Andrea has the coolest vintage clothes and bags around. Here’s a little more about her beginnings and where you can find her when she’s not at the Magic City Vintage Market. ✨

The Kitschy Kloset was founded in 2019 to share my love of vintage and mid century kitsch with folks in the Bham metro area. I have a booth at Urban Suburban in Crestwood and opening a new booth at Jasper Pickers in Jasper at the end of the month. I have an Etsy presence and also sell on IG. I also am a vendor at Northport Vintage Market, Mom’s Basement Vintage Market, Piety Street Market in Nola and Fleur De Lis-Paristown Flea in Louisville KY.

Happy Tuesday, friends! We hope you’re having a great week. We want to give you a little look into our vendors for our upcoming market in August. First up is our friend Mollie from !

Moodboard Market came out of Mollie's love for collecting inspiration, design, and vintage finds. She believes a vintage find can pull together a vision whether it is a room, party, or vibe. Mollie looks for pieces that have personality, works with modern decor, and are beautiful as well as functional. She particularly loves tableware and glassware (her husband jokes the cabinets are going to fall off the walls from the amount of dishes and glasses in her personal collection). Moodboard Market sells curated pieces from the 1950s to 1990s; vintage finds to complete your real life moodboard.
