Knute and Hallie picked sand cherries 1 last time today and have an extra 5 gallons available
Who wants a gallon bag for $10 each
We are available until Thursday evening
Kids picked a total of 35 gallons for 2026 and left plenty behind for the wildlife. Today we had a doe with twins bedded right in the sand cherries and gave the kids a great show at 10’ away for a good look before heading to the other tree patch.. very cool seeing their habitat at work!
Pickup 5 miles southeast of Lincoln, first come first serve!

The extended forecast brings relief for trees but continue water and help trees prepare for fall 🌲🌳

Tough year.. supplemental watering is critical this year even for some mature trees. These 2 middle silver maples were moved 3 years ago and usually only need additional watering the first 2 years after being transplanted but this year is an exception.. the water bill is going to be high but the survival is worth it.
I am spending a few hours each morning watering trees, moving hoses but it’s better than losing trees. I have gave up on some this year it’s just too hot and dry, they gave up the fight.
If you’re wondering if your trees are alive.. do the scratch test. Use a sharp blade and slice the bark 3-4’ up the trunk.. if it’s green keep watering, it’s its bone dry save your water and time.

So many flowers this year.. odd year even for pumpkins. We won’t know details on pumpkins until the trillion weeds turn brown 🎃
