Got a chance to fish solo today, best part, basically no boat traffic!! I absolutely love fall fishing! The Fall bite on the east end of Lake Sakakawea is showing signs of improvement!! Should just keep getting better!

Had a nice outing with some quality fish today. Numbers were pretty good! Let’s just say I was busy! Days are getting shorter take advantage of the Fall bite before ice up!

Had a great fishing trip yesterday with one of my repeat groups!

An awesome day with these gentleman on Lake Sakakawea. Nice weather, really nice bag of fresh Sakakawea Walleye! Fishing is still good, a mix of jigs and jigging raps created these results! Fall fishing is fast approaching and the bite will be in full swing soon!

Sakakawea is continuing to put out some awesome walleye fishing!!! Had a great time with this group the last couple days! I even got to fish a little and won the small fish bet! lol 😂

Had an excellent day today fishing with Steve and Linda two new clients today. Each of which caught there personal best walleyes today! Solid limit pulling live bait rigs 14’ to 20’ of water. Lake Sakakawea is a great destination for some excellent walleye fishing!!!

This post is a couple weeks behind. I had the privilege guiding a group with a 5,6 & 7 year old and 2 fathers. We had a blast together! Caught lots of fish & various species.

This trip was all about the kids. They all got to reel in plenty of fish 🎣, see lots of beautiful country side and even got to drive the boat with me! I truly enjoy getting kids in the boat! I try to make there experiences something they won’t forget! Reel Fishing Guides can accommodate parent(s)with younger
kids, educate them on fishing basics & just make the day full of fun and laughter!

The report on the Missouri River has been nothing but spectacular! Even though the weather isn’t always nice we’re still producing lots of fish.

This past weekend was fishing for fun! Took my son and my nephew out Saturday and just had a blast fishing together. Released a lot of nice fish! My son Ethan caught his personal best for the river so we’re pretty excited for him! Great time with family!!

First trip of the season on the Missouri started out with a bang. Great fishing with awesome clients! Kept plenty in the 16-22”range. Released a couple good ones as well!

What a great couple of weekends fall fishing!! Jigging raps has been the ticket, with some jigs and minnows sprinkled in! Speaking of jigging raps, keeping them organized has always been a challenge! But, I have a solution for you! Check out this hard bait Lakewood organizer from Cardinal Outdoors! It has made organization so much easier! No more multiple plastic boxes cracking & leaking water! Keep everything in one organized box, it’s just simple! Check it out on Cardinal Outdoors! Mine is the Medium Size, which can accommodate about 117 jigging raps, or spoons etc!
