Happy National Thrift Shop Day to the only store in Bismarck where the sweater you buy helps somebody start over.

Seeds of Hope does more than raise money. Survivors find interview clothes through our Career Closet, pick out household furnishings when they're setting up a new place, and some train on the sales floor to build retail experience for a résumé that has a gap in it.

You'll find us at 520 E. Main Avenue, open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Saturday.

Donations are accepted during those hours every open day except Wednesday, and we ask that you box or bag things first.

Downtown Bismarck Main Ave road construction update – all lanes have been re-opened to traffic and the traffic signals are back to normal operation! THANK YOU to the contractor for getting lanes re-opened AHEAD OF SCHEDULE!

There is still one small repair needed at the Main Ave & 7th St intersection which will need to close the eastbound to southbound right turn lane for a couple days, and permanent striping still needs to be installed throughout the project, but the striping is planned to be performed during off-peak hours with mobile operations and flaggers.
