As part of our July 1776 Initiative supporting the Boot Campaign, we're spotlighting team members from our Acme Equipment dealerships who have served in the military. Our next spotlight is Matt Meindl, Assembler at Acme Equipment Minot, ND.
Matt served in the United States Air Force for 24 years, from 1987 to 2011, specializing in Minuteman III ICBM Missile and Space Systems Maintenance. He began his career at the Grand Forks Air Force Base, where he took on a range of roles, including Team Chief and Trainer for the Mechanical Shop and Mechanical and Pneudraulics Shop, a topside Team Member for the Missile Maintenance Team, and the Transport Team Chief for the 1st and 150th Reentry System. In 2000, Matt transferred to the Minot Air Force Base where he continued to advance, serving as Team Chief, Trainer, and Quality Assurance Evaluator for the Mechanical Shop; Senior Controller for the Missile Maintenance Operations Center, Assistant Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge in the Mechanical and Pneudralics Shop; and the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge for Training Management until his retirement in 2011.
