This Saturday, September 5th, we're hosting a Standard Format Magic: The Gathering Regional Championship qualifier. Doors and registration open at 11am, deck lists are required, and round 1 pairings go out at Noon. Entry fee is $10. The winner will get their choice of attending SCG Con St. Louis in January, or SCG Con San Diego in February.

Hello Magic Players! As previously communicated by Wizards of the Coast, production delays have unfortunately delayed much of our The Hobbit MtG product. We will unfortunately only be holding 2 prerelease events instead of our usual 3 for this prerelease weekend. Event times are as follows:

8/7 - Friday - 7:00PM, sign-ups start at 5:00PM (36 Slots)
8/8 - Saturday - 12:00PM (24 Slots)

Price for entry is $45
Sign-ups will be first come, first serve, in person.

The only additional product we will have available for sale are Collector Boosters, limited to 1 per person per day unless otherwise preordered, and the corners will need to be clipped unless the pack is opened in front of us.

We expect most of our product to be in early next week. All pre-orders already placed will be honored to the best of our ability. Thank you for your understanding as we do our best with what we have on hand!

We will honor pre-orders first as we get product in. The pre-release events go on as planned next Friday at 7PM and then on Saturday at Noon and 5PM!

Anti-Scalping measures are in place for The Hobbit.

To further attempt to curtail scalping, we will be slicing and removing the plastic wrapping or otherwise breaking the seals on the majority of sealed TCG products in store at the time of purchase. Some packs with significantly higher market prices compared to retail, including but not limited to The Hobbit Collector Boosters, will have to have a corner of the pack clipped off at the time of sale to prevent resale. Purchase of certain products including but not limited to the highly anticipated Pokemon 30th Anniversary set may require the opening of product within the store to guarantee no reselling of the set. Our priority as a local game store is to guarantee fair purchasing opportunities for as many members of the community as possible, and these policies are in place to reflect this priority.
