I wanted to take today to say thank you to everyone that came out to the market and everyone that sent kind messages! I literally love yall so much and I feel like the luckiest person❤️

I also wanted to talk a little bit about the website, because I’ve had a lot of messages asking why it’s been down for so long, but I’m going to make a long story very short! I’ve had some pretty major things going on in my life the last couple of months, and I just simply haven’t had the bandwidth to be able to do all of the things in my life, markets every weekend, and keeping up with the website! I know I’ve received many messages from people who have been disappointed that they haven’t been able to shop online, and I am truly so sorry, my intention isn’t to ever disappoint anyone, but I am only one person, and I will always do my best for yall!

I spent a lot of last week trying to update things so that I can get it back up, but the reality is that this year is just looking a little different than years past, because I haven’t able to do all the things like I have before, and that’s ok! Things will get back to where I can manage them, but this is just a season of life and it’s how I’m having to manage it❤️ I appreciate the patience!

I am working early this week on invoices that I’ve told people I’d send, and then toward the middle/end of this week, I’m trying to have my website back up with some of the new things! However, the best way to find the full selection is going to be in person at markets this year! Again, this is just a season of life, and I hope that I’ll be able to get things running back at my normal pace in the next couple of months!

Lola Lou will be back at the Blacksburg Farmers Market on Saturday!!! We will be in our regular spot along the mural wall from 8am-2pm with lots of new fall things I’ve been working on!!🍁 can’t wait to be back in Blacksburg and see yall!🫶🏻

Enjoy about an hour of setup sped up! Early mornings getting ready for events can be so stressful because I always feel so much pressure to make everything perfect, but at the same time it’s something that I enjoy SO much. I love when I finally get to display all the things I’ve been making and working on for everyone to see❤️

Markets are hard work, but I always feel so proud once everything comes together!

Salem!!! You did that!! THANK YOU! Yesterday was such an amazing day, and I’m always blown away by the crowd that shows up each and every year!

Olde Salem Days starts early at 8:30, and I do my larger setup, so it’s a very early morning to get in the vendor line to be able to start setting up as soon as possible! My alarm went off at 2:40am😳 since I’m not there often, I want things to be perfect for yall to be able to shop!

It is so worth it though…yall always show up for me, and I’m always so excited to be there! I’m working on replying to everyone’s messages and comments today! Love yall soooo much 🫶🏻❤️

….and of course I had to go to the new Wawa!!!🤭

The Charm Bar at Lola Lou has become a favorite for so many of you, and one of my favorite parts is seeing the collections y’all have been building!

You start by grabbing a tray so you can lay everything out, play around with different combinations, and see what you love together!

Next, pick your base! If you’re brand new to the Charm Bar, you can choose the base you want to build your earrings on. If you already have a Lola Lou base at home that you love, you can skip this part and head straight for the charms!

And then comes the BEST part…choosing your charms! You can mix and match them, and switch them out with your outfits! There are sooo many fun combinations!

I’ll have the Build Your Own Earring Charm Bar with me this Saturday at Olde Salem Days, with lots of newly added fall charms!

And if you already have a Charm Bar collection going…this is your excuse to add a few more!🤭

This Saturday, September 12th from 8:30am-4:30pm, you can find Lola Lou at Olde Salem Days! Each year we have been in a different location, so this year you can find us on the corner of East Main and Broad Street, right in front of the farmers market! Swipe to see the map!!

We will have our larger 15 ft setup, so there will be lots of room to shop allllllll the cute things! This is our one time a year we make it over to Salem, so we can’t wait to see yall!!❤️

If you’re new around here, I’m Alli! Owner and maker here at Lola Lou! My business is named after my beagle, Lola! So many people assume my name is Lola because of my business name, so they automatically call me that, so I joke and say that I answer to Lola better than Lola does (beagle people will understand🤣)

I’m a Blacksburg Farmers Market vendor, and although I don’t share a lot of the behind the scenes on here with the market, I’m on the Marketing Committee for the market, and I’ve also taken over a lot of The Blacksburg Farmers Market’s social media this year! So when I’m not working on Lola Lou, I’m usually doing something with the market!! The vendors hate to see me coming with my tiny microphone 🤣

My whole life revolves around my two beagles, Lola and Maple! They’re the reasons why you see a lot of beagles on things around here!! I love my girls more than anything in this world, and I am so lucky I get to have a job where I get to spend my days with them by my side!

I don’t feel like I’m too interesting, I just make cute things for people to wear, hang out with my dogs, and harass fellow farmers market vendors for pictures and videos in my spare time🤣

I know things are expensive right now, so here are a few budget friendly options if you’re wanting to shop at Lola Lou and spend $20 or less!

Most of my dangles range from $23-$33, with a majority of them being $25…but the mystery earring vending machine is a great way to get a pair of dangles for a discount if you’re willing to take a chance!

Hopefully this helps if you’re on a budget and not sure what your options are!❤️ I am grateful for every purchase, whether that is big or small!!
