It was fun to kick off the new class schedule Thursday night with our wire frame witch hat that we covered with an old quilt and embellished. We then used our scraps as the background for a framed ghost and a framed cat/moon rhinestone brooch. Cute-o-ween decor! Thanks for coming over to craft Dixie, Peggy, Ruth, Jan and Monica!

I have an idea for the front archway over the door. It will either look amazing or awful. Step one: spray paint the existing spring flowers that are already attached, orange. Next step: fill in with fall florals, leaves, etc. I'll be progressing over the next few days and will post again as I make changes. Fingers crossed it will look fall-tastic!

OK, so I added 6 more jack-o canisters today. They are mixed in with those that I posted the other day. This newest batch is a slightly brighter orange and a few are a little smaller. Pop in and take a look at them.A few have already sold, so don't wait too long. I only have a couple more containers in my stash, so will work on one more small batch next week. Also, give me your thoughts on the painted filbert branch. It's in an old-fashioned xmas tree stand. Can you see the spooky potential? It would look so cool decorated for Halloween (or fall). I loves those gnarly curly twigs! I also used one in a fall arrangement. It's easier to see and appreciate in person - it gets a little lost in the photo. Finally, do you think I should create a floral arrangement in the standing witch candy bowl, or just price it and sell it as-is?

The jack-o cannisters are starting to make an appearance and we've got a couple of 'new' tables to tell you about. The first, is a black painted 36" round, double drop leaf table with a pedestal base. It is a great size for 'tucking in' somewhere and is so versatile. The other is a 1/2 moon console table. Also painted black, except where I was able to save some of the original decoration. This would be perfect in an entryway, hallway, behind a loveseat, etc. Stop in and see what's new. :) 🎃
