🖤 Remembering Terry “Worm” Atkins

Today, the Rick’s Rental family is heartbroken to say goodbye to someone who was so much more than a coworker — he was family.

For 18 years, “Worm” was a dedicated part of our team. Our unofficial shop drill sergeant, he had a way of putting things in order and making sure everything was done right.

“Worm” always had a story to tell, and just when you thought he was finished, you could almost guarantee you’d hear, “And one more thing…” And then came another story. ❤️

He was a man of discipline, with a passion for martial arts, Harley-Davidsons, and of course, that unforgettable beard.

The shop simply won’t be the same without him.

We are grateful for the 18 years of memories, stories, hard work, and laughter he gave to the Rick’s Rental family.

Rest easy, Worm. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten. 🖤

5pm service call:
Customer: “Mam this is probably a call you haven’t received before”
Me: hmmm.. I’ve answered a few off the wall calls whatcha got?
Customer: Cats!
Me: wait what?
Customer: yes mam, there seems to be kittens stuck in the underside of this trackhoe and I can’t keep operating it knowing they wouldn’t make it out alive.
Me: “ help is on the way dear”
Matt and I went out and after removing the belly pan Matt was able to pass them off to me!
Operation cat rescue, success!!
Thank you Matt for all you do.
Not all calls are the same but the quickness these guys provide services remains top notch!🐾🐾

🚨 Pawsitively Unexpected Equipment Inspection! 🐾

Today’s job came with a surprise attachment… two tiny “fur-lift operators” hiding inside one of our trackhoes! 🐱🚜

After a careful rescue mission, both little supervisors were safely removed and are doing just fine. We think they were just checking the hydraulics… or maybe looking for a rent-free place to nap. 😸
