🖌The vestibule in the new shop was black like the ceiling and I decided to change it up with Dixie Belle Paint Company's Thicket, my favorite green!! It really brightened it up!

📆We've got a few more weeks 'til moving day and I'm excited about getting things ready!!

❓Have you ever heard of of Kinusaiga Art? ❓

🌅I hadn't until Angel brought in these unique and eye catching works of art! Kinusaiga is a Japanese art form that means "silk picture". It was created in Japan during the 1980s by artist Maeno Takashi as a resourceful way to repurpose leftover silk scraps from discarded kimonos.
🐻You can create mosaic-like pictures by tucking colorful fabric scraps into carved grooves or slits on a flat board. *** Angel asked me to edit to let ya'll know that she uses foam board to carve her grooves and then inserts into a wood frame." 😊No sewing involved! Angel has created some beautiful pieces representative of our area. They would make wonderful gifts, especially housewarming or closing gifts.

They are even prettier in person, so stop in and and see for yourself! We are open 10:30-5pm!

🌞Good morning! I opened my feed to see this picture and welcome to the "street level" part of downtown from our friends at The Hole In The Wall Ga!
🏪We are very excited to be at street level, easier to find and with more close parking! We're also going to have much more room, and that means more of the local artisans that you love!
📆We are making progress and plan to be up there by the end of August or very beginning of September! Thank you Jan for the welcome! 😊

Morning!! We want to start the day with a big congratulations to our neighbors over at Keen Creations. They have been in the lower part of Kenya's office and the insurance place. Now they are moving up to the old insurance part of the building with street front entrance and parking. (This is a view from the side.) The entrance will be out front. They have spent the last several years growing into such a versatile store, that supports real handmade wares, gifts, specialty paints and so much more! Congrats Sharon! You guys rock!

🖌Today was our first prep and paint day upstairs in the new space!

Most of the walls are painted! We're taking them from a dark gray to a creamy white.
The black ceiling is now white too!

Thank you Sandra Pressnell , .danalewich , Anderson , Steve and Lillian! My grand girl hung with us all day and is a very good painter! 💕
