Dennis recognized for promoting Blanchard Farmers Market

Members of the City Council presented a proclamation to local Blanchard Farmers Market vendor and promoter Susan Dennis on September 12th.

Dennis was recognized for her efforts in promoting and publicizing the city’s burgeoning famer’s market, which include her live Facebook stream each Saturday morning where Dennis tours the market and promotes each of the 30-plus vendors and their products.

This sweet young man has been buying flowers for his friend for the past year. ❤️🌸

There’s something so sweet about getting to watch young love unfold one bouquet at a time. 🥹❤️

This past week, he came back to IGrowBlooms because they were going on their first official restaurant date, and he wanted to make sure she had a really special bouquet. 🥰

At this point, I told them I’m officially invested in this little love story. 😂💕

Look what we got for customer convenience!

I originally thought I could just somehow get the wifi from the house to reach the container… turns out that involved bridges, cables, antennas and a bunch of IT stuff that I absolutely do not understand 😬😬🫪

So I gave up and just got the container its own Starlink 😆

Which means we now have internet out there and I was able to install a doorbell!

Until I get the farm stand portion completely finished, you can just pull up to the container, ring the button and I’ll come out and help you place an order or see what I have available.

Little by little it’s all coming together and I’m so excited 🥹🌸

I was refilling my chickens water and lifted the bucket and found this nice sized salamander underneath. It must have been much cooler ❤️

I put the bucket right back over him so he could continue on how he was.

Such a cool find, especially with this drought going on ❤️
