Hearing sobs from around the corner, Roada Clucklahoma just had to find out what was going on. To her surprise, a new friend was in distress.
"Roada, I am such a basket case," stated the Orpington.
"Whatever is the matter, dear friend?," questioned Roada.
"Well, you see, I have this class coming up and I am all worked up about it... I am kind of.... EMOTIONAL!!!," cried the troubled chicken. In a hushed voice and somewhat melodramatic, the chicken said, "Not many have signed up for the class and I think it's because I DON'T HAVE A NAME!!!!"
Well, that was enough to get poor Roada Clucklahoma's emotions going too! She remembered that once upon a time ago she, too, was unnamed. So, taking matters into her own hands, Roada made a plea to Beth's staff to help name the Emotional Chicken (and sign up for her class... it's a beginner amigurumi class!) So we ask, will you please help us name the Emotional Chicken?!?

It's amazing how Beth's Gathering Place ("the classroom") transforms from one day to the next. The last three days, the Gathering Place was filled with kiddos learning and groups congregating. Today- Bernina University! If you missed out on all the latest Bernina models, have no fear! We have a few on display!

There's something special about multi generations coming together to sew. And even if it's not the same project or level of difficulty... this sort of thing makes our heart go beat, beat.

For three days, April Green graciously instructed these younguns in making aprons, pajama pants and an impromptu hot pad. It was an extension of kids camp and these kiddos did fantastic. Stay tuned for next year's dates! We'll be doing it again, just maybe a little more revamped.

And just to let you know, as the wording may be a little confusing, these kiddos sewed for three days and various groups met, each day, while these kids sewed. The intermingling of the generations was just fantastic. Lots of energy from the kiddos and smiles from the adults. Let's just say, it filled our tanks seeing so much positive activity in our classroom space.
