🔧 In the shop this week: Mossberg 500A revival
This older 12-gauge Mossberg 500A came in looking like it had spent a few seasons living hard. Thick fouling, sticky internals, a safety that wasn’t doing its job, and it refused to cycle 3" shells reliably.
Right now it’s fully field-stripped on the bench. We’re cleaning every nook, checking the trigger group, extractor, bolt carrier, and action bars, and sorting out the safety and cycling issues so it runs the way it should again.
These classic Mossbergs are tough, but neglect catches up with them. A proper deep clean and a few key adjustments go a long way toward bringing them back to reliable service.
Got a sh***un (or r***e) that’s been neglected, acting up, or just needs a thorough going-over? Drop us a message. Blue Raven Precision is happy to dig in and get it sorted.
