Day one of practice is over. I had some trolling motor trouble this morning, but got it fixed and managed to get in the water at about 10:30. Here's a good catch from today. Thanks to Aaron Buhler at Coastal lures their hand poured swim baits are amazing.

Well she is clean, packed, covered, and ready to go. I am heading out Friday morning for Pickwick Lake to fish the Bass Nation Nationals as a co-angler. I will be representing the Louisiana Bass Nation and some other supporters.

Took my boat to R & R Outboards the other day to get it's first checkup after the rebuild they did this spring. All was good with the motor but Ryan found water in my 18 month old lower unit. He wasn't even supposed to be working on that end of it. Point being, that is how thorough they are. Thanks to Ryan my boat will be ready for the trip to Pickwick for the Bass Nation National Champship.
