I want to give a big hug to all of my customers! So many have reached out with words of support, encouragement, and love! You know it was a bittersweet decision to put an end to the Armadillo Era, but we will begin a new one, I’m sure! But thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

Hard to believe it’s been 25 years since that unimaginable, horrific day! All of us remember where we were and what we were doing at the time we heard of the unfolding tragedy. But in the aftermath, I saw all of America come together as one. It didn’t matter your race, creed, color, gender, religious belief or party affiliation… the country united together. I pray we never have to go through an event like that again, but I would LOVE to get back to that feeling of unity. God bless our first responders and leaders, and GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

Where do I begin? To everything there is a season. A time to WORK, and after much prayer, I’ve decided it’s my time to RETIRE (again) This has been a very hard decision! I have SO ENJOYED the last 7 years (can you believe it’s been 7??) I have met and gotten to know so many wonderful people! I have revisited and renewed “old” friendships. And become friends with customers, getting to know you and watching your families grow & change. So many of you have become more than friends, with a strong bond that will continue.
But now it’s my time to move on to the next chapter, so I have decided to close The Turquoise Armadillo at the end of this year. StartingTODAY, EVERYTHING WILL BE ON SALE. Yes, EVERYTHING!

Yes, we lost a true icon this week! She had a heart as big as Texas, and the voice of an angel. A trailblazer and role model for, not just little girls, but for everyone.
