Get ready for a night of mystery, laughter, delicious food, and plenty of suspects!

Chamber member, BP Servicemen's Club is hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater featuring The Watersdown Affair on Saturday, September 19th.

🎭 Follow the clues, watch for suspicious behavior, and see if you can figure out whodunit before the mystery is revealed. Remember, everyone is a suspect!

🥰 It is with heavy hearts that we share that the Blooming Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce lost one of our own chamber members this past Monday.

𝗦𝘂𝗲 𝗭𝘄𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿, 𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟳𝐭𝐡.

Sue was truly a special part of Blooming Prairie. She was a familiar face, a friend to so many, and someone who cared deeply about our community. In many ways, Sue was someone whose presence, kindness, and connection to others helped make our community what it is.

Please keep the entire Zwiener family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate an incredibly difficult time. ❤️

We also ask our community to continue surrounding Sue’s grandson, Bo, with prayers and encouragement as he continues to recover and heal from his accident. 🙏💕.

Sue will be deeply missed by the Blooming Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce and by the community she called home. ❤️

🎒❤️ Help feed Blooming Prairie students this school year!

As families prepare for another school year, Chamber member, the Blooming Prairie Backpack Program is preparing to make sure local students have access to easy-to-prepare food over the weekends.

You can help by donating:

🥣 Mac & Cheese Cups
🍎 Applesauce Cups
💙 Granola Bars
♥ Other individually packaged items

Donations can be dropped off at Vandal's Family Market in Blooming Prairie.

Every item donated stays right here in our community and helps support students in the Blooming Prairie School District.

It doesn't take a large donation to make an impact. Picking up an extra box of granola bars or a few cups of mac & cheese or applesauce while you're grocery shopping can add up to a big difference when our community works together.

❤️ We're proud to have the Blooming Prairie Backpack Program as a member of the Blooming Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce and grateful for the work they do for local children and families.

🎡 It’s Fair Week! 🎠

The Steele County Free Fair officially kicks off this Tuesday, August 18th, at 5:00pm in Owatonna!

🇺🇸 The fair begins with the Flag Raising Ceremony at the Wenger Stage, marking the start of 6 days of food, entertainment, exhibits, livestock, rides, and plenty of fair fun.

One of these photos was found in the Chamber's old files and is labeled “Renchin Hardware, 1950s.” Another set of photos was labeled Gambles Hardware.

There's so much to look at in this photo, from the merchandise lining the shelves and the Grand Opening signs hanging from the ceiling to that old wooden floor!

🙏 Our Chamber community is rallying around the grandson of one of our chamber members after a serious car accident yesterday morning. Moments like this remind us how strong and compassionate our community of Blooming Prairie is.

To his family: you are not alone. To this young man: your community is behind you, believing in your recovery and sending every bit of strength your way.

Please keep Bo in your thoughts and prayers as he fights to heal. 💙

🌈 Something NEW is coming to Blooming Prairie!

Chamber member, Blooming Prairie Cancer Group is hosting its first Family Color Run on Sunday, August 30th!

Get ready for a fun-filled evening of color, laughter, and community while supporting cancer research. Whether you run, walk, stroll, or simply come to enjoy the fun, this is a family-friendly event for all ages!

📅 Sunday, August 30th
🕞 Registration: 3:30pm
🏁 Color Run Begins: 4pm
📍 Victory Field, Blooming Prairie

Registration includes:

👕 White Color Run T-shirt
🌈 Color powder stations along the course (optional!)
🚶 1-mile walk/run — participate with or without color
🌭 Hot dog meal following the event
