Tom "the Garden Guru" Fox has been planting and raising gardens for more than 50 years. Starting from a small 4 by 10 garden "out behind the garage", Tom has now built and planted over 300 garden beds of various sizes over the past 10 years. Through his efforts he has expanding both the total number of vegetables that he sells to local stores, but also adding to the volume of produce that he donates to the local food pantries and soup kitchen. Growing up he was constantly reading all that he could find written by Helen and Scott Nearing; two of this countries “Back To The Land Movement" pioneers. This small love planted the seed of gardening within Tom and he has never lost his burning desire to work with Mother Nature.
