You knew alpaca fleece can keep you warm...but cool?
I'm happy to report that our fiber was successfully used to pack the oiled bushings for a family member's a/c fan!

Looks like Winnie is eavesdropping.
When is very hot, we get to "mow in the shady backyard, wipe our dirty selves on the clothes on the clothesline and "chill" on the cool(er) concrete pad by the door.
Ahhh summer!

Smart w**d looks so much like japanese indigo and there is so much of it around here that our dying experimenter decided to give it a try. No blue...but the green is quite lovely!
