Thank you to everyone who participated in the three live sales this weekend! We raised enough to cover Beckett's first month of pre-school!

As a reminder, if anyone still wants to shop, watch through the videos and comment for anything you'd like and we can invoice you and ship, or offer local pickup in the Bloomington area, or Vincennes area if you are a friend of Liz.

Trying this again since the last upload glitched out.

My friend Liz and I will be hosting TWO live auctions of my products over the next two days to raise the funds to cover Beckett's pre-school tuition. This is an absolutely wonderful school, with actual early childhood teachers! He is so smart and really deserves the opportunity to attend, so I want to do everything I can to make that happen.

So here is the nitty gritty:

Purpose: To raise the funds for Beckett's tuition

Goal amount: $5000 (but more is always better to cover school clothes or anything else he might need!)

Where: Facebook LIVE

When:
Friday, August 7 at 9PM EST: Slap It On: Couch Potato Edition
(stickers, magnets, keychains, keyfobs, and some other small items.) Most items on this day will start off at $1, and the auctions will last 1 minute each.

Saturday, August 8 at 2PM EST: Daylight Robbery (Legal Edition): Handbags & Handiwork
(Purses, wallets, cosmetic bags, the last of the apron stock, and mystery grab bags)
Items will start at approximately 50% of their retail value, and the auctions will last 5 minutes each.

What's in it for you?: Besides the warm and fuzzy feeling you'd get knowing that a little boy will be receiving a quality early education? You'll also get access to many one of a kind pieces for a fraction of their original retail costs, AND we will be including free gifts for order that meet a minimum total (to be decided by random draw at the start of each auction).

How does payment work?: When you have decided you are done shopping, come back to this page and PM me the first and last name you want the package to be mailed to, mailing address, whether you would like your order shipped USPS ground or priority, and either your Venmo or Cashapp handle for the payment request to be sent to. Requests will be sent within 24 hours of you closing out your order.

Payment requests will come from either:

$BarbMedcoff (CashApp)

Even if you can't participate, share the events or invite your friends. We appreciate every effort!

Please go like the original post so the owner has to wear a speedo to Taste of Bloomington! Also, if you’re in the area, their cookies are AMAZING. Chocolate dough with white chocolate chips and oreos, oreo cream cheese frosting, and a sprinkle of sea salt are by far the BEST cookie there. (It’s like Coldstone but with cookies!)

We’re still here — just a little quieter these days.

Life has changed a lot since my son was born, and with limited time, we’ve had to make some thoughtful decisions about what Something Snappy can realistically keep producing.

Most of our product lines have been discontinued, but a few favorites are staying:

✨ Stickers
✨ Buttons

And big news — our half‑aprons will be making a comeback as gardening aprons! They had been a customer favorite that I am excited to revive, and I’m planning to bring them back once we’re out of growing season and I can sit down at the sewing machine again.

In the meantime, we’ve launched a new sister project: Pepper Pandemonium — a fun, community‑driven space where we’re growing cross‑pollinated pepper plants, sharing garden chaos, and building something fresh from the ground up. If you love gardening, whimsy, or just want to follow along with the adventure, we’d love to have you there.
