U.S. ultra-ow-cost carrier (ULCC) Frontier said that it will once again be operating flights to Burlington, Vermont from Florida. The airline revealed last week that passengers would have the opportunity to directly fly to two Floridian destinations, namely Tampa and Orlando.
During a press conference at the Northeastern airport reported on by Valley News, Burlington International Airport’s director of aviation, Nic Longo, said that these flights would begin operation on December 20.
While low-cost competitor Breeze Airways also flies to the area using its fleet of Airbus A220s, Frontier seems confident that it can quash any worries at this affecting its ticket sales. Longo said that Fronteir will be able to use up demand due to Florida being the airport’s “number one destination.”
