Poe has long been a source of chills and thrills, mystery and suspense. It is only fitting that his life would end the same way.

According to the Edgar Allan Poe museum, the author once vanished for nearly a week before being found delirious in a Baltimore tavern wearing someone else's clothes, repeatedly shouting a name (“Reynolds”). He died shortly after of unknown causes.
