The 3rd Sunday Market negotiated mud and standing water this past weekend in Bloomington. The days leading up to the Market were a bit intense, and we were fortunate to have mild weather on Sunday.

The staff enjoyed the variety of duck shoes, galoshes, and rain boots coming in, and admired the treasures and unique items leaving the Interstate Center.

Kudos to the Mclean County Farm Bureau team for getting the grounds prepared as best they could, and to all of our vendors who helped navigate the aftermath of one of the most intense “derecho” storms in recent memory.

Our thoughts are with our friends and neighbors throughout the community as we clean up tree limbs, dry out wet basements, and get things back to (Bloomington-)Normal.

Looking forward to the cool days, autumn colors, Friday Night Lights, and the Fall 3rd Sunday Market season!
