Our hearts are with the family, friends, and brothers and sisters in blue as we mourn the loss of Deputy Burner with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Today, we stood and watched the procession pass, and overhead, a helicopter carried the American flag—such a powerful and humbling tribute to a life of service and sacrifice. It’s a moment we won’t forget.

Deputy Burner was an incredible officer who made a lasting impact on this community and will be deeply missed.

From all of us at Rivertown Insurance, we are grateful for his service and honored to be part of a community he so proudly protected.

Please keep his loved ones and fellow deputies in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. 💙
