Back when we hit 2,000 followers, we promised a giveaway to say thank you, and we asked you to comment for a chance to win. We know the whole world has moved on to Needohs so our collection of Labubus, Baby Three, and other blind boxes aren’t trending anymore, but you know what they are?! If you haven’t met Kelsey in person yet, you are missing out. She is not only our talented social media manager but also class/event coordinator. Oh, and wife to my son W***y and mother to my grandbabies, Blair and Soren. She has been a great gift to us and we value her help in all our endeavors—from helping at the store to birthing ducklings to cooking delicious dinners. We love you, Kelsey! Happy Birthday!

We've been overwhelmed lately by how many of you have made The Homestead part of your week — stopping by on a Saturday, sharing a find with a friend, telling us this little shop feels like home. That kind of support is something we never take for granted.

Today we're celebrating the heart of The Homestead, Patti!

This whole place started as a dream for her, to leave the chaos of city life behind, retire, and build something real in a place that felt like home. Every corner of this shop reflects her passion for all things vintage and her love of a good treasure hunt, and tbh, nobody does it better.

Before all of this, Patti served our country in the Army, she also enriched plenty of young lives as an engineer and teacher. That same strength, patience, knowledge, and dedication carries into everything she does as a mother, a grandmother, friend, and the driving force behind The Homestead. She's the kind of person who will get to know you, share whatever she can with you, wether that be honest advice, snacks, or a kind word, and give you the shirt off her back if you need it, no questions asked. She truly is the heart of this place; family, community, and connection is everything to her, and you can feel it the second you cross paths.

Happy birthday, Patti! Thank you for building something so special and for sharing your dream with all of us.
