As a vendor at SantaCaliGon Days we can say that this was a very scary situation to be in. We were able to get our merchandise packed up quickly but some of the other vendors were not so lucky!
Our hearts are with all of the vendors and small businesses affected by the storms at SantaCaliGon Days and Kansas City Irish Fest this weekend. 💔
For so many small businesses, weekends like these are months in the making — creating inventory, paying booth fees, packing trailers, setting up displays and counting on festival sales. Having severe weather damage your booth, products or equipment — or force an event to close early — can be devastating.
We have so many friends in the small business community, and this is one of those times when supporting local really matters.
Sending lots of love to everyone cleaning up, rebuilding and figuring out what comes next. Kansas City, let’s show these businesses some love.
