With the heavy lifting done in our master bedroom for the moment, it's time to begin another project. This office is NEXT on our list of projects to get done.

We desperately need a space to sort and organize our project and file items so there is no time like the present to get cracking on making our office work for us!

This it the beginning of basic prep and planning stages for this room. Be sure to stay tuned for more progress as the project continues.

It's been a busy 2 weeks. Multiple projects making progress.

1. Crossbars on the escape.
2. Custom storage shelving
3. New office closet door casing
4. Removed crown molding (though witness paint left behind shows where it was)
5. My wife did a quick upholstery on the master bedroom Dormer seat
6. Lined the dormer storage with cedar ship lap. (Finish trim and floor still to be done.)

BUT busy busy busy

Our master bedroom has HUGE walls and little character, SO I made this mountain-scape art piece FROM SCRAPS!

Made from a scrap wood bundle and stains from the ORANGE store, and with random hardware and rough assembly I was able to make this rustic art piece for our master bedroom wall. It not only represents me and my wife and our continuing journey together, but it looks pretty dang cool!

On this weeks episode the renovations begin with the first transformation of our Master bedroom. This room is the first to get REAL attention on our seemingly ever growing projects list.
