So these girls Alison, Abby, Farah,Jade, and Nicole do a girls trip every year on the 4th of July in Manasota Key since first year together in College and they have kept it going years later! They had a fun trip with Capt. Willie on the Double Digits and they take their fresh catch to the Lock and Key Restaurant and as u can see they do a fantastic job! Great job girls. Not only do they fish they do a lot of fun music, dancing and catching up with their lives on the boat. Great times and great memories!

So it was Capt. Willie’s grandson Cayson’s birthday this past week and he wanted he and his friends to go fishing so they went yesterday and what a day! These boys had a blast and Mom Falon and mom Meagan made sure to keep everyone hydrated and fed! Thank u dads Jason, JD and Joe for all your help. Not only is this soccer team of close friends and family good on the soccer field they nailed it on the boat also!

Yesterday was the annual Red Gill Tarpon Tournament in the Boca Grande Pass. Dr. Greg from Cape Haze Dental and Phil had a great time and keeping the tradition going in this tourney each year. Congrats to Travis and the team on the Serene for First Place, Blaze and his team for 2nd place, and Lucas and his team for first fish.

So a few years ago Bill Rizzuto had a bucket list and wanted to catch Tarpon and a Permit, he did both!
He has fished with Capt. Willie each year and caught several tarpon on the Tracy Lynn and landed permit on the Double Digits. Last night in the Boca Grande Pass was a beautiful night fishing for Tarpon and caught a few of them!

So last Saturday was the 2026 Kids Classic Tarpon Tourney. Mate and grandson Clayton Werman, Capt. Willie and his grandsons, Cayson Rice and Grayson Mcguinness, Charlie Weir and Tucker Wagenseil was on board the Tracy Lynn.
We had our good luck lunch at the Temptation before the tourney and this was grandson Cayson’s first year to fish the tourney and he loved it. Also son-in-law and Cayson’s dad and Clayton ‘s step dad Jason Rice of Taz Tile was on board to have the best time with the kids.
All these kiddos love to fish and we appreciate our sponsor so very much and very thankful to have him!
Thank you to Gary, Kasey, Robyn and all the volunteers, sponsors and our Island businesses of Boca Grande.
Congrats to Capt. Wayne and his kids on the Hey Momma for First Place and Mitch and his kids on the Magic for second place.
