PRE ORDERS ARE NOW OPEN!
✨ O’ Holy Night ✨

Light the candle. Gather your family. Remember the gift.

As the warm fragrances of frankincense and myrrh fill your home, slow down and reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ.

I imagine this becoming part of a new Christmas tradition — lighting O’ Holy Night during family Christmas devotionals, opening the book of Luke and reading through the verses leading up to Christ’s birth, then lighting it again on Christmas morning as your family gathers to celebrate.

A simple reminder, in the middle of all the Christmas excitement, to pause and remember the greatest gift of all. 🤍

The fragrance notes:
Bergamot, coriander, orange, amber, frankincense, myrrh, dark musk, Finished with patchouli essential oil.

🎄 PREORDERS ARE NOW OPEN!

This will be a limited Christmas batch, finished in our amber glass vessels. If you’d like one for your family or as a meaningful Christmas gift, comment below to reserve!

Today our micro school class had the sweetest opportunity to visit one of our student’s homesteads for a little foraging adventure! 🌿 Hidden Ground Homestead

And, as a small business owner myself, I’ve found that owning a small business has completely changed the way I look at supporting other local businesses. I know firsthand how much it means when someone chooses to shop small, tell a friend, or simply stop by to see what you have.

Before we left today, we had to browse their farm stand, too! We came home with Chef’s salts, homemade pineapple jam, and some Cedarwood goat’s milk soap.

And there was SO much more to choose from…several different flavored salts, homemade dry starter dinner packets, and other goodies made right here by a local homeschool family.

If you’re local, I hope you’ll consider stopping by and supporting this sweet family and their growing homestead. ❤️

It’s pretty special when you can support a small business, a homeschool family, and your local community all at the same time.

Okay… THIS candle keeps selling out on me!

Every time I’ve taken Spiced Pumpkin Apple to a market and had it burning, it doesn’t last long. It has quickly become one of those scents I know I’ll be bringing back next fall! ❤️

The scent is a cozy blend of apple, orange, ginger, nutmeg, pumpkin, cinnamon, and clove — basically fall in a candle.

I’ve got just a few left for this season:

4 large 13.5 oz mason jars
Several 7.5 oz amber glass jars
3 concrete pumpkin candles

And they all have that crackling wooden wick you all love. 🔥

The mason jar and amber glass candles are on the website. Http://shepherdcandleco.store

If you’ve been wanting one of the concrete pumpkin candles, just comment and let me know — I only have 3 left! 🎃

📣 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. 😢

I’ve seen a few of the other vendors sharing their updates lately, so I wanted to let y’all know what’s happening with Shepherd Candle Company.

The end of October will be my last month with Wilkins. I’m honestly super bummed about it, especially because November and December are typically my busiest months of the year. 😭

I don’t want anyone to miss out on their favorite fall scents, so if you’ve been meaning to grab something from my booth, now is the time!! I’ll be keeping the booth stocked through October with what I have available, but once something sells, I won’t be replacing it.

BUT—this is definitely not goodbye!

You can still shop Shepherd Candle Company anytime through my website, and I can make it to Gaffney about once a month for local deliveries. So if you need Christmas candles, gifts, or your favorite scent, you can still order online and I’ll get it to you!

Thank you to everyone who has supported my little business through my time at Wilkins. It truly means more than you know. 🐾❤️

Well… we definitely didn’t plan on adding another baby to the family.

If you’ve ever stopped by my booth, you’ve probably heard me tell the story behind the name Shepherd Candle Company. Rosie was the inspiration behind our little business, but the truth is… we’re a cat family too. 😂🐾

Even if you don’t have a shepherd at home, most of us have those pets who are family. The ones who make us laugh, keep us company, and somehow find their way into the biggest parts of our hearts. I think that’s a pretty special bond we all share.

Was having a third cat on the radar?

Absolutely not. 😂

And then Mabel came along.

She’s approximately 3 weeks old, being bottle fed, and apparently needed a family. So… here we are. Whew. 😂🍼

Our hearts are just really big for these babies, and sometimes you do what feels right for your family.

And Rosie has completely embraced her new role as nanny. She has been so sweet with Mabel and takes keeping tabs on this tiny girl VERY seriously. 🥹🐾

So yes… Shepherd Candle Company is officially a shepherd + three cat household.

We may not have planned it this way, but I think Mabel is exactly where she’s supposed to be.

I’ll be out here at Wild Pines Sanctuary in Union SC until 3 today! 🌿

It’s such a beautiful day to come out, shop some local makers, and support Wild Pines and their nonprofit farm. 🐴🤎
