Strawflower is one of my absolute favorite flowers, to grow and to use. They’re so fun, and they dry perfectly, colorful and vibrant. I always tell people that when you’re done with the bouquet, hang the strawflowers upside down, and you’ll have them forever.

As plants in the garden, they bloom their little heads off all summer.

Did you hear the crinkly sound they make in the video?

This summer is flying by! If I’m a little quiet over here, it’s because I’m all over the place, literally. We went to Hong Kong, Tokyo, Southern California, and Idaho Falls, and we are going to Park City, and New Mexico, and Stanley before school starts in 3 weeks.

Phew, that’s a lot! But I’m still squeezing in work between trips and getting ready for the fall wedding season.

Ranunculus aka buttercups are one of those flowers that I love but I don’t enjoy growing. Not only I love her, but the bugs also love her too. How could you not though? The fluffy petals are so romantic.

Mother’s Day prep is in full swing over here. We are at capacity and are not taking any delivery orders this year.

For all the moms out there, have a wonderful Mother’s Day and hope you get spoiled rotten by your family this weekend!

P.S. Salmon chiffon peonies (1st picture) and allium (purple) got the memo and bloom right on time for Mother’s Day again🥰. Sunflowers from the greenhouse are slowly but surely blooming as well!
