I didn’t get this far without being delusional, ya know? This weekend proved to me that we are making MAGIC 💫

It also really inspired me to get this idea into the universe. So, here we are. Do YOU own a brick and mortar in Boise and want to collaborate? Or maybe you love Sagebrush and another business and you want to tag them to get this on their radar…. 👀

Email me at [email protected] for more info; and if you’re interested. 🫶🏻

Thanks for understanding! See you all tomorrow. 😘

Listen… this ain’t my first rodeo. I’ve done markets as a vendor around the country for 7 years, and I’ve been organizing markets for 4 years now! Organizers CAN CARE ABOUT YOU, VENDORS!
If they wanted to… they would, ya know?
I’ve had so many terrible experiences as an artist myself and I never want anyone to ever feel that way at a market they were picked to be at and paid for.

I try to be a communicative as I can before the market (sorry vendors for the dozens of emails), and the day of, even if I am just running around all day. I try to highlight all artists on social media, and share about them and their work. And something I REALLY wanted this year was a vendor hour. I wanted to do this before the market, but the slow Sunday morning was perfect.

Some coffee from epiphany coffee and the best baked goods from caffesorrentoboise and Alternative Flour Bakeshop along with tea, fruit and other snacks and a hour before the market starts to yap with your fellow vendors, trade, make connections… it was a TOTAL dream to see it come to life and see how many people chose to attend. I almost cried taking these videos.

We love our artists. They’re what make our markets so special.

I woke up this morning completely exhausted. I sat on my back porch in the early morning sipping my coffee and tried to find a minute of stillness after a 14 hour work day the day before, with summer market prep, running the shop, and a Confluence Night Market.

I am so grateful to be so exhausted. When I threw around the idea of a large summer market… I figured we would be slow as a shop, as last summer was pretty dang slow. Somehow it’s been quite the opposite. It still amazes me everyday that people choose to walk into the shop and spend their money on handmade goods, that I hand pick, to share with our community. That neighbors and new people every month come by our Night Market. That artists consistently trust me with their goods. That this little shop isn’t just surviving, but thriving, and has grown into the beautiful community hub I desperately wanted it to be.

Anyways; I’m a little delusional and exhausted right now. I hope to see you at our Inaugural Summer sagebrush markets • bringing together art + community this weekend. Myself, Allanah, and all of the amazing artists, non profits, and friends have been working SO hard to bring this to life and share with their goods with you. The shop will also be open all weekend regular hours, because our lovely new employee, Shayasta, will be here.

Thank you for being here.
xoxo Jess
