A Gen 2 Stargazer in Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬

Thanks to Guillermo R and his Bikecovery Channel crew for sharing these shots with us. We love seeing Tumbleweed bikes out in the wild!

All of our bikes are fundamentally designed from a blank sheet for off-road loaded touring, the Stargazer is no exception, it’s ready for any adventure big or small.

Happy summer riding!

Tumbleweed ambassador is riding the final 600 miles of the Peru Great Divide on his journey from Alaska to Argentina. And this stretch just might be the most beautiful part of the trek so far.

After more than 500 miles through Northern Peru on unnamed roads, through rainstorms, hail, and snow, Dan dropped into one of the most well-known bikepacking routes in the world on his Prospector. More than 50 passes above 4,000 meters, clear rivers, and skies lit up with stars, Peru during the rainy season turned out to be unlike anything he could have never imagined.

But there was still more road ahead. His next 450 miles took him onto the Cones and Canyons route, the longest stretch he’s ever ridden at above 14,000 feet.

Dan came across snowed-in camp spots, river crossings that kept his feet cold all day, a 6,000 foot climb out of Cotahuasi Canyon, pups, vicuñas, and, after five months of searching, his first condors.

Dan finally made it to Arequipa. And, from the looks of it, Peru still has even more to give.

Give a follow to see his final stretch of his journey from Alaska to Argentina.

The new Olive Green and Teal Prospectors are out in the wild – and man do they look good!

Olive Green pairs perfectly with silver or black components and tan wall tires, while Teal is a nod to the original Prospector colorway, just a couple shades deeper and a solid match for gold decals.

Two fresh looks, same legendary Prospector.
