Today a woman came in to sell some jewelry simply because of the bad memories surrounding those pieces. I was happy to help her out so that she can take that money and buy something she can make new memories with. Well, one piece was different it was actually one half of her favorite pair of earrings. She seemed to have lost the other one and she expressed how sad she was to have lost it and that for some reason she kept the other in a box for years… So naturally I advised her not to sell the other half of the earring and to hold off on selling the gold chain because I have an idea! 💡
Let’s keep the good memories rolling and repurpose your favorite earring. Within 5 minutes she was tearing up so happy to have a new piece made from that gold earring she loved so much. Sometimes it’s not just about coins or metals.

Today a family came in, looking to put a price on a collection that had been sitting collecting dust. Because they did not know very much about coins we were happy to help them and educate them on what they had. While looking through these coins, we found a token from a place that they remember visiting as a child with the loved one that passed away. When I found this old token with a hole in it, I had the idea to make a necklace out of it to give to the family. Not only were they able to make some money from their family members, beautiful collection, but they also have a new keepsake to remember the awesome collector who left this to them. Out hearts are full. 💙
