Make plans to visit Bonham, Texas for the 70th Annual Kueckelhan Ranch Rodeo, happening July 23–25, 2026!

Bring the whole family and spend your days exploring Bonham's charming downtown, local shops, restaurants, museums, and historic attractions. Then, each evening, head out to one of North Texas' most beloved rodeos for an unforgettable night of authentic ranch rodeo action.

What began in 1955 as a friendly competition among local cowboys, started by Haynes Kueckelhan while he was in college, has grown into a celebrated family tradition. For 70 years, the Kueckelhan family has hosted this annual event on their working ranch, welcoming thousands of spectators from across the United States—and even around the world—to experience genuine Western heritage and exciting rodeo competition.

The rodeo grounds are just 8 miles north of Bonham's historic downtown square. Simply follow Highway 78 (Center Street through town) straight to the ranch.

Here are the details...

Kids ages 6 and UNDER may ride.
There is a $40 CASH ONLY entry fee to be paid before they ride.

⚠️IMPORTANT:⚠️To get signed up, you'll call in on July 20, 2026, from 5PM to 9PM. JULY 20 ONLY - NO PRE-ENTRIES!⚠️ The phone number will be posted to our page on 7/20.

We'll be accepting 50 contestants to ride on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Time TBD. The top 16 riders will advance. 8 will ride Thursday, July 23, and 8 will ride Friday, July 24. The top 8 from Thursday and Friday will advance and ride Saturday for the Championship!

Helmets will be provided. No other gear is needed. The champion will receive a buckle and a T-shirt.
