Why do I create a jewelry collection inspired by Islamorada during Labor Day?

Well, that’s where my family is from, my grandfather survived the Labor Day Hurricane of 1935.

I keep getting asked why do I do a jewelry collection inspired by Islamorada during Labor Day…

Well, to begin, that’s where I’m originally from and where my family, for generations, lived.
But I do always release a collection around Labor Day to pay respects to the 1935 Labor Day Hurricane.

Fun fact…
My grandfather survived this Hurricane in a school bus!!!

So to share the beauty of the Islamorada and the Florida Keys, I’ve released a jewelry collection named the ALLIGATOR REEF collection.

Inspired by the crystal clear turquoise waters and majestic lighthouse.

This collection captures that scene perfectly,
The turquoise waters
The golden glimmer from the sun
The shadows of the reef
And a majestic pearl, just like the lighthouse

This statement necklace and a coordinating pieces are handmade with love in small batches.
There are only a few available and once they are gone, they’re gone.

The ALLIGATOR REEF collections drops Saturday 9/5 at 9am

I had to show you guys these in person because they are so good!

The colors of these beads capture the reef perfectly and the unique pearl is the essence of the Alligator lighthouse.

There are 4 styles in this collection and made to layer together.
But it’s a limited collection.
Only 3 of each style are available.
Hand beaded right here on my couch just for you!

There’s just something so unique and majestic about the iron light house at ALLIGATOR REEF

Did you know this was named after the USS Alligator?
A Navy Schooner that protected merchant ships and fought off pirates. The ship ran a ground in 1822 and the crew sunk the ship to protect it from pirates.
