This initiative aims to support Boone’s small businesses to locals, students and visitors! Each business is rated using a star system to reflect its commitment to sustainability! ⭐️

Tree Frog Woodshop is someone we’re lucky to call a vendor + a friend. ⭐️ When handcrafting spoons and bread bow knives, Brad uses only North American hardwoods, including maple, cherry and walnut. After being sanded to a smooth finish, they are soaked in food grade mineral oil and hand rubbed with a blend of mineral oil and beeswax for a satiny feel. His cutting boards are edge grain and also made using only North American hardwoods. Along with maple, cherry and walnut, they may also include white oak, ash, hickory, butternut and ambrosia maple.

In addition to these handcrafted items, Brad also makes Cotton Rope Bowls (for sourdough proofing), Herb St*****rs, Door Stops and Hand-Dyed Indigo 100% Linen Tea Towels + Aprons. Swipe to check-out the full scope of Brad’s incredible work — and a peek into the BTS Cotton Rope Bowl making process!
