📣 ATTENTION: THE “WHY DON’T YOU POST THE PRICES?” DEPARTMENT HAS AN ANNOUNCEMENT.
We regret to inform you that the department does not exist. 😂
Every time we post pictures of new merchandise, someone inevitably comments:
“It would be nice if you posted the prices.”
“Why can’t you just put the price on the picture?”
“Why post it if you’re not going to tell us how much it is?”
Well, Linda… gather ’round. 😂
We’re a small, locally owned DISCOUNT STORE with a handful of employees and a constantly changing inventory.
Our prices are typically 30–60% OFF big-box stores.
We are NOT Walmart.
We do NOT have:
❌ A corporate office
❌ An advertising department
❌ A website department
❌ A social media manager
❌ Brenda from Accounting
❌ Some poor bastard sitting in the back whose only job is adding prices to Facebook pictures
When merchandise comes in, we have to unload it, sort it, price it, stock it, clean up after it, help customers, run the register, answer messages AND somehow find time to take pictures so you guys can see what’s new.
“BUT WHY DIDN’T YOU PUT THE PRICE?! ”
Because, Susan, WE WERE BUSY DOING THE OTHER 97 THINGS REQUIRED TO ACTUALLY RUN THE FlIPPING STORE.
The pictures are basically us saying:
“LOOK WHAT WE JUST GOT!”
They are NOT an online catalog.
See something you want?
👉 Message us and ask the price.
We’ll happily answer when we get a chance.
But if your next thought is:
“Wouldn’t it just be easier to put the price on everything?”
No.
No, it would not.
We’ve done the math. 😂
Thank you to the 99% of you who completely understand how a small discount store works. ❤️
And to the remaining 1%…
Our application for the 47 additional employees required to individually photograph, price, caption and maintain an online inventory of every random item that comes through our doors is still pending.
Please keep us in your thoughts during this difficult time. 🙏😂
