Our St.Andrews Auxiliary Thrift Shop Volunteers are grateful for the quick response of the fire department🚒, the police 🚓 and our fellow shop keepers for creating a rapid evacuation due to yesterday’s emergency at the Meadow Mall. Our customers and our volunteers reacted quickly to follow directions and clear the area. Thank you all❗️🙏

There is a lot more happening behind the scenes at the St. Andrews Auxiliary than sorting, pricing and selling.

There is friendship. Laughter. Purpose. And a group of volunteers who genuinely enjoy showing up for one another and for our community.

Every hour volunteered and every purchase made helps fund scholarships for local students pursuing careers in healthcare and supports programs and needs that strengthen healthcare in our community.

This is the heart behind the shop. 💙

Saturday Thrift Shop Tales - Not so long ago …. In our St. Andrews Auxiliary Thrift Shop….a bride-to-be had a clever idea. 💁‍♀️She bought up several sets of lovely dishware (at very reasonable prices) and was all set for a lovely wedding reception dinner ….filled with charming china for her guests 🥂🍽
And today….folks throughout Greater Boothbay can find festive china & dishware for special occasions just like the bride….or a start-up set for heading to an apartment or dorm. You need dishware.❓WE’VE GOT IT❗️
