🚫 Reminder: Lighting fireworks inside the Borger city limits is illegal. Please help us keep our community safe this holiday weekend!

🎆 If you are celebrating with fireworks outside of city limits, please follow these safety tips:

🔥 Keep a bucket of water or hose nearby
👀 Always have an adult supervise fireworks
🚫 Never relight a “dud” firework – wait 20 minutes, then soak it in water
🐾 Keep pets indoors – fireworks can scare animals
💨 Light fireworks one at a time, and move back quickly
🗑️ Dispose of used fireworks properly – soak them in water before throwing them away
