Jeez what a week. I knew this week, with the full moon and the lunar eclipse in Pisces was going to be a doozy, but wow. This year for the August Full Moon I decided to reach way back through time to the ancient Celts, and went with the Dispute Moon. This full moon, late in the summer, was when ancient Celtic communities would come together to resolve any disputes between neighbors before the winter came, so they wouldn’t dwell on those disagreements throughout the cold winter months. To reflect this, I decided to make one side green and one side pink, meeting in the middle with a marbled pink and green hydrangea. Take it easy this week, and remember, eclipse season is almost over!

Tonight is the full moon!! Ok, so I usually go with the Herb Moon for July, but this year I decided I had to give the Buck Moon the attention it deserves. I went with these stunning manzanita branches to mimic the glorious summer antlers of a buck, surrounded by my favorite seasonal herbs - this one has green and purple basil, rosemary, licorice mint, regular mint, lavender, cosmos, and rudbekia. This is the mix that we will have for this week - each week may be a little different depending on availability, but they will always have the manzanita and be packed with as many herbs as possible! Hi everyone! We’re taking a little break for the long weekend. We’ll be here regular hours 10-6 Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, closed Saturday 7/4 - Tuesday 7/7, so if you need anything for the weekend, make sure you get in by 6pm Friday!
