The BVMA Violin and Bow Making and Restoration Workshop opens for expression of interest on July 7th.

This will be taking place from the 14th – 19th March 2027 at Westhope College, Shropshire.

This ever popular general violin/bow making course is back again! This year there are no tutors but everyone will be working together and learning from one another. Do you have that restoration job or instrument/bow still in pieces that you wish you had time to finish? Then this is the course for you. You’ll be working on your own projects with the opportunity to work on joint ones if you would like to.
We particularly welcome young families to apply for this course at this busy time to keep them connected to the trade.
There are 18 places max. available for this exciting course.
Find out more, including the link to express interest, on our website under Events.
